DESCRIPTION
Jumeira Baccalaureate School is an established IB school in the heart of Dubai, where young people thrive, learn and succeed. It is the only IB school in this part of the city.
The school aims to provide exceptional opportunities for each of the students in a supporting and challenging environment.
From Grades 1-12, the IB programme provides students with a world-class, inquiry-based learning experience that is linked to real life examples, enabling young people to be prepared for a future that is constantly changing. The school also offers senior students an alternative practical option into the workplace or university through studying the IB Career Related Programme (IBCP).
The JBS campus sits on approximately eight acres of prime land in Jumeira 1, with outstanding learning, sporting and performing arts facilities, including a grassed football field, swimming pool, two large gymnasiums, multi-purpose auditorium, designated music/drama and visual arts rooms, library and shared play areas for younger students.
There are four main buildings on the school’s campus: The J Building, The BACC Building, The S Building and The Library Building.
The school applied to become accredited by the Council of International Schools (CIS), and some of our schools also attain authorisation and accreditation from the International Baccalaureate (IB) and the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC), all global leaders in this field.
Jumeira Baccalaureate School (JBS) is an International Baccalaureate (IB) World School. It is a candidate school for the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP) and fully authorized to offer the IB Middle Years Programme (MYP), Diploma Programme (DP), and the IB Career-related Programme (IBCP).
